Natalie Portman is fresh-faced at the book launch of To India With Love: From New York To Mumbai in New York City on Wednesday (November 4).

The 28-year-old actress, who posed with author Waris Ahluwalia at the event, showed her support for the book, which is a scrapbook of personal stories and photos to support the victims of the Mumbai attacks of November 2008.

Earlier today, Entertainment Weekly released exclusive photos of Natalie and costars Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire in Brothers.

The film, which opens December 4, is about a woman whose husband goes missing in Afghanistan and how she turns to her brother-in-law for support.

Soha Ali khan Kissing scene in Movie “Tum Mile”

Shooting experience for ‘Tum Mile’ has been a “nightmare” for Soha Ali Khan but luckily Emraan Hashmi is not the reason for her displeasure; it’s the water.

“I don’t think I will able to do this kind of film again. I am glad that it is over. It was physically very demanding, very tiring hard work and I have become quite phobic to water since the film,” she told.

Of course, the primary concern of director Kunal Deshmukh was to ensure that none of the cast or crew fell sick because of water. Therefore, strict instructions were issued to keep the water clean. But Soha jests that Emraan probably broke the rule.

"Kunal had given strict instructions not to spit or pee in the water, but I think Emraan did one of the two…the worse one," Soha was quotes as saying at a press meet.

When asked about the kissing scene controversy Soha said, “It's all rubbish! I understood when I signed the movie opposite Emran Hashmi, that there might be a kiss, so I was prepared for it.

I was slightly confused when Kunal Deshmukh inserted a second kiss, which was not there when I first heard the script. It has taken little bit of convincing from Kunal's part, but it's important to convince your actors. I was prepared for the first kiss but not the second! But it has been done in a very good taste. ”

Showering more praises on Hashmi Soha added,”He is not at all like his onscreen image, which most Bollywood actors are! Emran is very professional, and we are very similar, which is why we get on really well. The fact that I liked about Emran is that he doesn't take himself too seriously. ”

Produced by Vishesh Films, Tum Mile is set against the July 2005 Mumbai floods and is slated for a November release.

Salman Khan Has No Time For Kamal Hassan & Jackie Chan?

Salman Khan might be roped in for a cameo in a South project starring Hollywood action star Jackie Chan and South superstar Kamal Haasan. However, sources close to the Bodyguard star claim that Khan might opt out of the project as he would be too busy with other commitments.

Sources close to Salman Khan were quoted to have said, “Salman is shooting for the Dabangg sequel at the moment and then he has promotions for another project coming up after which he is committed to Shirish Kunder for Kick. There is a lot of post production work too in between and it seems that this year, he will have no time to devote to any other project.”

Meanwhile, it is also being said that Sallu will try his hand at directing by lending a hand to brother Arbaaz Khan, who is helming Dabangg 2.

Kate Beckinsale finds Sexiest Woman Alive label mortifying

Most Hollywood actresses would kill for the ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ title but actress Kate Beckinsale is mortified by it and detests admitting the fact that she’s the owner of the title.

The ‘Underworld’ star was handed the honour by Esquire magazine earlier this year, knocking beautiful Halle Berry off the number one spot.

But Beckinsale insists she has struggled to cope with the alluring name and finds it hard when people quiz her over her new sexy status, reported Contactmusic.

“It’s such a nice thing to happen and then immediately it’s mortifying. Somebody came up to me in the street and went ‘Are you the sexiest woman alive?’ And I went ‘yes,’ and then I thought, ‘Errrggh I can’t say yes to that!’ ,I should be shot on sight for that, it’s awful!,” Beckinsale said.

The 36-year-old British beauty was also roped in by the publication to create a video where she was seen walking about an apartment wearing nothing but black lingerie.

John Abraham turns ‘item producer’

John Abraham has done a promotional video titled Rum Whisky for his first production venture Vicky Donor, and describes himself as an “item producer”.

“I did the song for fun. In this song I am not only the item boy, but I am the producer also. It’s important to understand that I am the driver of this film in a way, but I am also the producer of the film. I am the item producer,” the 39-year-old John Abraham said at launch of the music of the film.

Releasing April 20, “Vicky Donor” stars veejay-turned-actor Ayushman Khuran and TV actress Yami Gautam in the lead roles. John Abraham says he chose to stay out of the cast of the film about sperm donors because he wanted to test himself as a producer.

“I am taking this role very seriously because you must have seen that actors usually star in their own films and then they produce it. It is my first film and I am not starring in it. I have cast newcomers because I wanted to see how effective I am as a producer,” said John Abraham.

Sonakshi Sinha to Star in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Sequel

BollywoodGaram.com: After Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was finalized for the role of the upcoming sequel of the movie 'One Upon A time In Mumbaai', actress Sonakshi Sinha is the next star to be finalized for the movie. Sinha will be playing the role of a gangster's moll.

The news was confirmed by Sonakshi's brother Luv on Twitter, “Its official! @sonakshisinha is part of one of the films I’m looking forward to watching the most. ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAI..AGAIN,”. Bollywood Garam sources stated that Kareena Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut were approached for the role before Sinha.

For Sonakshi, this will be the third venture with Akshay. The actress earlier teamed up with Kumar for Shirish Kunder's 'Joker' and Prabhu Deva's ‘ Rowdy Rathore’ . Both the movies are expected to be released this year.

The sequel of the movie 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' will be directed by Milan Luthria and will have Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. Akshay will be playing the role of the character Shoaib, from the underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's kingdom.

Pamela Anderson’s kids want to live in a trailer forever.

The former ‘Baywatch’ actress has spent millions of dollars renovating her Malibu home, but says that Brandon, 13, and Dylan, 11 – her sons with ex-husband Tommy Lee – have got so fond of their temporary accommodation in the family’s guest house trailer that they don’t want to leave.

She said: “It’s where all my motorcycles, surfboards and all the fun stuff for the kids is kept, but now that we are in there the kids don’t want to leave.

“Even though my house is almost done and we are getting through this contractor hell.”

The actress is being sued by five building firms over unpaid bills, allegedly owing over £690,000 for work on her property that she is unable to pay due to having just £2,300 in available funds.

She has spent over £1 million renovating the £850,000 house – spending thousands on gold pool tiles and £33,000 sofas – but it does not yet have a working sewage system or electrics.

In a statement released by her management team, the 42-year-old star said recently: “These reports are crazy and I cannot believe this has become a media issue. It is true that I am in a dispute with some of the contractors working on my home.

Sonam Kapoor’s loss is Samantha’s gain

Sonam Kapoor has opted out of Mani Ratnam’s new Tamil film which launches the veteran Tamil actor Karthik’s son Gautham. The role has now gone to the upcoming Tamil-Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu who also will make her Bollywood debut with Assi Nabey Poore Sau.

“At this point in her career going Southwards for Sonam would give the wrong signal to the filmmakers in Bollywood. Mani had his heart set on Sonam since she suited the young innocent effervescent sophisticated girl’s role to the hilt. He had to look for a last-minute replacement,” said a source.

The Tamil-Hindi director Gautham Menon’s next Hindi film “Assi Nabey Poore Sau” had an interesting role for the female protagonist who had to go from age 15 to 25. Sonam was reportedly considered for the role, but later Samantha was finalised for it.

Samantha, who was introduced into cinema by Menon in his Tamil film “Vinaaithandi Vaaruvaaya”, was supposed to make her Hindi debut with the movie’s remake Ekk Deewana Tha.

So Menon will now launch her with “Assi Nabey Poore Sau”, said a source.

“Gautham wanted Samantha for the Hindi version of ‘Vinaaithandi Vaaruvaaya’. Having failed in that endeavour, he is now in the process of completing ‘Assi Nabey Poore Sau’ as a Hindi launch vehicle for her,” added the source.

The film pairs Samantha with Aditya Roy Kapoor, who disappeared after “Guzaarish and “Action Replayy”. Currently the actor is focusing on getting the look and performance as a 15-going-on-25 loverboy right.

Aditya has gotten rid of his trademark curly mop for the role.

“Both Sam and Aditya have to have to go through three age-transitions from 15 to 20 to 25. Their love story starts when they’re six. Obviously Sam and Aditya couldn’t play the six-year old pair. But the three other stages in the characters’ lives have been pulled off effortlessly by the lead air,” said Menon.

The transformation, according to the director, is startling

Come April when “Assi Nabey Poore Sau” releases, Samantha, we hear, will be launched as the next Sridevi in Hindi cinema.

Russell Brand has made Katy Perry “naughtier”.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer promised to flash her flesh while presenting the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) after her British boyfriend persuaded her to let down her guard.

She said: “I will be especially naughty under Russell’s influence. I’ve worn things recently that aren’t appropriate for this – sorry mom, sorry dad.”

Katy – who is returning as presenter of the awards after impressing bosses last year – also admitted she won’t be concerned if she exposes her breasts in any of her revealing outfits in Berlin tonight.

She added: “MTV asked me back because I have this no fear attitude. I don’t care if I do fall over or if a boob does fall out.

“I’ve gone for less costume changes this year but less clothing too. It’s all a bit naughtier, with lace, crystals and lots of boobie things. It’s sexy. I’m highlighting what God gave me – what mama made.”

While Katy, 25, insists it is the ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’ star who has brought out her naughty side, friends of the 34-year-old comic insist they are equally daring and provocative, which is why their relationship works so well.

British comedian David Walliams, a close friend of the star, said: “Normally Russell’s girlfriends are following him around totally in awe of him, but he is following her around totally in awe.

“But I can understand that because Katy is absolutely knockout gorgeous and really funny, really provocative and naughty. He has met his match.”

Katy and Russell, 34, were first romantically linked after the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) two months ago when they were seen kissing at Lady Gaga’s after-party at New York nightspot Avenue.

They have enjoyed a romantic holiday to Thailand and have been inseparable ever since.
